In the UK there is no list of repossessed houses and often the properties only appear with the estate agents once they have gone through the process of being repossessed and one is up against the public to secure these. In the current climate it is unfortunate that we are seeing more and more of these cases, due to the ongoing financial issues we are all facing during these tough times.

Our "repo" properties are often in good condition throughout and may require basic cosmetic work, such as painting and new carpets. One would expect to do this even when a new house is bought for residential purposes. Most of our stock is second hand properties and traditional houses, enabling the investor to compare the sold prices with land registry figures. We do provide due diligence in the form of ‘for sale’ and ‘sold’ prices, as well as rental comparables in our investment proposal to our investors.
