You need support and help in property investing

It is essential in any Business to have the right skills onboard and people who can assist you with your property transactions. This includes brokers, solicitors, accountant, tax advisor and tradesmen.

Let’s look at each of these professionals in more detail:

1) Broker

It is essential to have a creative broker onboard who can talk you through the products available in the marketplace and quickly obtain offers for you. A good broker usually can tell you within a couple of hours the best products available and also give you useful information in regard to processing times to offer with various lenders. 2) Solicitors

You will need two sets of solicitors – one for the buyer and one for the vendor who are used to working quickly under pressure. It is of paramount importance that your solicitors understand your requirements and can execute completion very quickly. The solicitors will make a difference to you when the completion date is around the corner, which is the case with such transactions. Your solicitors can make or break the deal if the case is not progressed quickly, which could in turn mean your reputation to the vendor and losing a great deal.

3) Accountant / Tax advisor

A good accountant will help you plan your transactions accordingly with the assistance of a good tax advisor who will help you forward plan your tax liabilities. You will be liable for capital gains tax and so you should keep a log of your expenses and your tax advisor will also prepare your annual tax returns.

4) Tradesmen

To have good tradesmen in your property area is crucial. There will be times when you receive a call on a weekend or an evening from a tenant who has had a boiler breakdown or electricity problem. The tradesmen will be at hand to assist your tenants and provide that service to build a long term relationship with your tenant.

You may have to go though a number of different professionals until you find those you are comfortable with and this process can take a few months in some cases, but be patient as it is all a learning process and you will take so much from working with different people.
